Sustainability

*Compared to Folic Acid, L-methylfolate is a form of folate which is ready to be used directly by your body.

Supplemental folic acid intake increases the maternal folate status. A low maternal folate level is a risk factor in the development of neural tube defects in the developing foetus. For women of child-bearing age beneficial effect is obtained with a supplemental folic acid daily intake of 400μg for at least one month before and up to three months after conception. Development of neural tube defects have several risk factors. Altering a single factor may or may not have a beneficial effect.

Maternal intake of Omega-3 DHA contributes to the normal brain and eye development of the foetus. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 200mg DHA, in addition to the recommended daily intake of Omega-3, 250 mg of EPA and DHA combined.

Vitamin D and Iron have a role in the process of cell division.

Iron contributes to normal formation of red blood cells and haemoglobin.

Magnesium and Iron contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue, while Vitamins B2, B6 and B12 support normal energy release.

Zinc and Vitamin D contribute to the normal function of the immune system.

Vitamin D support the maintenance of normal bones.

Seven Seas Omega-3 fish oils are in Triglyceride form, a more absorbable Omega-3 form vs Ethyl esters.
